Interview: Ruth Brennan

Description

Ruth Brennan has been a steadfast advocate and enthusiast of the arts throughout her life. She possesses a wealth of knowledge about many of the arts organizations and their histories in Rapid City, e.g. Rapid City Choral Club, Rapid City Concert Association, Dakota Artist Guild, Rapid City Arts Council, and many more. Ruth helped to propel art events in the community with her position as a Staff Arts Writer for the Rapid City Journal. She became a member of a few of the arts organizations where she volunteered time, but she later accrued more responsibility as the President of the Rapid City Arts Council as well as her appointment as the Executive Director of the Dahl Arts Center.
