Description
In this first interview with Charles and Grace Childs, Grace tells the story of her childhood on a Depression-era farm in North Dakota, and meeting Charles during college. Charles recounts his early life as a train-hopping musician and joining the National Guard in 1940. Both then recount the years spent together and apart while Charles was a Air Force pilot during World War II.
